Service Description

LED light therapy can be used to treat a wide variety of skin conditions, including acne, psoriasis, rosacea and eczema. It is also an excellent anti-ageing and healing treatment for the face, resulting in rejuvenated, glowing and healthier looking skin. Our award winning Celluma LED is placed over your face and this transmits either red or blue light onto the skin, or a combination of both. The red light stimulates collagen production, helping to generate new skin cells and to make the skin both stronger and suppler. The blue light kills bacteria that causes acne and other skin conditions. Both lights also act as excellent anti-inflammatories. How does the treatment work? Specific wavelengths of light will target different depths of skin according to your condition. The light kills bacteria, stimulates collagen production and cell regeneration, resulting in improvement in skin tone, texture and clarity. What happens during my treatment? LED Light Therapy takes place while you are lying down. The LED mask is placed onto your face and the treatment then takes place. Most patients find this a calming and relaxing treatment experience. Is this treatment uncomfortable? No. You should feel no discomfort or pain and suffer no side effects. However, this treatment may not be suitable for anyone who can feel claustrophobic. Who is this treatment suitable for? Anyone whose skin is suffering from the signs of ageing, acne, psoriasis or eczema. We are able to treat a broad range of skin conditions. A course of light therapy is recommend and will be discussed further with you during your consultation so you achieve optimum results.
